Meet the Doctor
“I was born and raised in South India. My passion towards medicine started when I was young. Having my older siblings in medicine when I was growing up & the passion to help people in need drove me to choose medicine as my career.
The opportunity of being accepted into one of the most prestigious medical schools in Asia completely changed my perspective towards my career and life in general. It was the biggest achievement in my life so far.
After finishing my medical school, I chose Obstetrics & Gynecology for my post-graduation in India. My passion during medical school was towards surgery & I wanted to take care of women who are the most neglected regarding health care needs back home.
In 2001 I came to New York & did 10 months of Internal Medicine residency before I switched to Obstetrics & Gynecology residency. I was very fortunate to be able to get into Obstetrics & Gynecology residency in the prestigious New York Medical College.
I moved to Dallas in July 2007 after finishing my OBGYN Residency in New York. I joined OBGYN Associates in Dallas & worked there until I moved to Plano in March 2009.
I have been practicing in Plano since March 2009 to until now. My passion is to take care of women who are in need. I love what I do for a living. I am blessed with 3 handsome, healthy boys. In my free time I love to do yoga, meditation, workout, riding my bike, playing with kids & reading books.”
